The Bell Boeing V-22 Osprey is a multi mission tiltrotor in use primarily by the United States military.
To take off, turn on SAS and go full throttle. As the engines spool all the way up, pitch forward onto the nose wheel or back onto the main gear to lift off easiest.
To change to cruise mode, pitch forward so that you are holding around 20 m/s, then press 1 to toggle the rotor tilt, and pitch back liberally while they are moving. Keep a nose high attitude to regain altitude while building speed. Pitch over at your convenience. I cruised around 80 m/s.
To land, reduce throttle slightly and toggle rotor tilt back to vertical. Play with the throttle to get a slow decent while moving forward with a nose high attitude (see the photo of it landing). Make sure you don’t descend too fast.
A mod aircraft called V-22. Built with 64 of the finest parts, its root part is hueycockpit.
Built in the SPH in KSP version 1.4.5.
