Description
BWWWAAaaaaoooowwwwhhhhh KaKaKaKaKaKa BBBBddBdBdpdddppdpdddbb Yeah, something like that. Fly it how you want, Shelby only offers a good time. She lifts off on her own at 52 m/s, or you can pitch up to rise at 40. I like to start that engine to warm her up first, no thrust, ‘til the blades are spinnin’ proper. Then, push her to 100%; but, with the brakes still on and she hits above 36 kN (right-click the engine, or just wait about 10-15 seconds). Release them brakes and let her free. Important things to note: It ain’t one'a yer fancy future planes, what be flyin' near to space and such. It’s a classic. A native. Free like a wild horse. You know the one… Pump them brakes when landin', ‘til she drop below 40 m/s and then you can pitch up to keep the back wheel on the pavement. Oh, and turn off that reaction torque when steerin’ her on the ground [by pressing 2]. It’ll drain yer battery if'n it’s left on and ya only got but 50 charge. She ain’t got no ladder, so find that spot behind the wing and hop on up like you ain’t lazy [as in, jump and press F when you see Climb
]. And if you feel you need to back-up, [press 5 to] reverse the thrust and invert the steerin' [and again to change it back]. Right, one more thing: the small rockets acting as exhaust should have their thrust dropped to 0, but it wouldn’t hurt to check, just in case. However, you can put monoprop back into the cockpit, set the thrust on them to the lowest limit (5.5), and then fire ‘em up so they’ll look like exhaust, too.
A mod aircraft called PT100iii Shelby (KAX). Built with 47 of the finest parts, its root part is Mark2Cockpit.
Built in the SPH in KSP version 1.0.4.
