Driving on my way out to Denver, I passed several old military jets just planted by the highway. Resisting the urge to stop at every one of ‘em meant I’d have to build at least one in KSP. How 'bout an F-15, eh? This one is all about maneuvers; popped on a couple J-33s for the form and spun her around KSC. If'n you want, slap on the bigger engines and fill her full of fuel to break the speed of such wow. Keep in mind, the engines are tilted to keep the offset-torque within 5kN and below, but it really shouldn’t matter that much. Oh, and the way it sits on the runway has it taking off at 60m/s on its own. Have fun! Remember to drive fast and take chances.
Important note: Does not translate to 1.0.5! A couple parts have changed and it messed with the look.
A stock aircraft called McDoug F-15K Green Eagle. Built with 71 of the finest parts, its root part is Mark2Cockpit.
Built in the SPH in KSP version 1.0.4.
