Based off of the VVA-14M3, The K-214-1 is a 100 ton VTOL ground effect aircraft with the capability to land and take off in almost any environment. The original concept including Inflatable pontoons allowing the landing in unorthodox settings such as on sand and in swamps. Furthermore, the interesting catamaran-esque fuselage maximises the wing-in-ground effect allowing for maximum efficiency by trapping a cushion of air between the bottom of the aircraft and the surface, reducing drag and increasing lift.
VTOL Mode
When Transitioning from VTOL to Horizontal flight, make sure you have at least 10m/s of horizontal speed due to the torque created by the cruise engines positioning
Flight Notes;
Personally I use mechjeb aircraft autopilot to control the altitude and vertical speed.
To turn just roll and use the bank angle to where you want to go.
