In honour of the Rachel Carlson, author of Silent Spring, K.R.A.S.S.H. Industries presents our latest underwater offering.

Rachel is a very fast submarine, able to cruise around 44 mps,, which is just under 100 mph, and can sprint to the suface at 60 mps. While primarily a submarine, Rachel has an amazing escape feature: she can do a one off air launch and land safely with parachutes. She can also, if the terrain is not too rough, get airborn from land.

PILOTING: Put engines to full and submerge. If you are surfacing, keep the speed low, or she will be damaged. You have various action group options so you can cut several engines to run more efficiently.

If you are in escape mode, just gun it and keep a good angle. Deploy chutes over land (DO NOT DEPLOY CHUTES OVER WATER! The ship will not survive the water landing).
If you do decide to re-takeoff from land, make sure you have repacked the chutes first. She is unable to do a standard landing.
