A stock aircraft called Lambda Class Shuttle. Built with 149 of the finest parts, its root part is mk2DroneCore.
Built in the SPH in KSP version 1.2.2.
This version of the shuttle does NOT have folding wings
The video is out-of-date but still fairly accurate. I’ve updated this craft to run in V1.2.2 & V1.3. The landing legs have been improved with a more solid frame and the bomb has been replaced with missiles. Other than that it works the same as shown in the video.

That’s definitely the way to go. You can go ahead and use my design if you want.
Would it be cool if I download this and try to get a mechanism to get the wings to fold in stock and reupload with creds to you?
Absolutely! If you can get that done, I’ll upload the craft file and use it in a video giving you credit for fixing it.
I’m not sure if you cracked the problem yet but I figured out a way to fold up the wings in the stock game. I’ll be releasing the craft file this weekend.
