Lufthansa Airlines is very pet-friendly and accommodating. Under the Lufthansa Pet Policy small dogs and cats are allowed in the cabin as long as they are in a carrier that can fit under the seat in front of you. Larger dogs are allowed in the cargo hold and must have a health certificate. Lufthansa also offers a pet travel service which includes pick-up and delivery of your pet to and from the airport. This service must be booked in advance and is subject to availability.
