Description
A series of F-14Ds modified for a certain squadron. Its frame is modular, allowing for a decent amount of customization options between pilots. The comms equipment have also been upgrade to allow better inter-squadron communication.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
1) This craft requires a lot of custom textures. I’ve packaged them at
https://www.dropbox.com/s/ouk2cp0ek2hig0n/F-14D%20Wardog%20Custom%20Decals.zip?dl=0
This also comes with part variant configs and tweakscale patches.
To install, simply unzip and merge the GameData folder with the one in KSP’s files.
These part variants were created and distributed with permission from the original author blackheart612.
2)1) You’ll need to get the procedural fuselage-style texture:
https://spacedock.info/mod/1301/W3%20Fuselage%20Texture
3)To minimize wing flex, you’ll need to turn on Advanced Tweakables (found in KSP’s General Settings) and enable intra-vessel part collisions. Make sure that the corner pieces of the body (the wingtipconnector pieces above and below the swing wing) and the swing wing all have part collisions enabled.
4) KJR is practically required to keep the aircraft in a somewhat intact form.
5) Decal variants have been provided to allow for Blaze, Edge, Chopper, and Archer variants of this aircraft.
A mod aircraft called F-14D Wardog Custom. Built with 135 of the finest parts, its root part is NMB-F14D.
Built in the SPH in KSP version 1.7.3.
