Description
A stock turboprop powered aircraft called Dornier Do335.
The Dornier Do 335 Pfeil (Arrow
) was a World War II heavy fighter built by the Dornier company. The Pfeil’s performance was much better than other twin-engine designs due to its unique push-pull
layout and the much lower aerodynamic drag of the in-line alignment of the two engines. It was Germany’s fastest piston-engined aircraft of World War II. The Luftwaffe was desperate to get the design into operational use, but delays in engine deliveries meant that only a handful were delivered before the war ended.
The replicas top speed is about 75ms (270kmh) (updated) in level flight, 50ms extended cruise. It is powered by 4 Juno engines and a custom bearing I made, it is capable of aerobatics and landing without issue. I have raised the top speed 10ms but I think this about the limit for a 4 Juno prop.
Be very careful when pulling up from the runway. Rotate slighlty at just above 40ms, wait till it gets off the ground before climbing faster. AG 1 for Flaps.
Built with 109 of the finest parts, its root part is Mark2Cockpit.
Built in the SPH in KSP version 1.4.2.

Looks great, two functional turboprop engines and only 109 parts. A triumph, bravo sir.
