A flying rover? Oh yes.
It’s a mid-range science rover that flies to its destination, lands, decouples the wings, tail and engines for recovery, then drives off to do science. It’s not the most grandiose thing in the world, but hey, it works.
Note: When landing, manage your speed and altitude. This has a tendency to stall at low speeds.
A mod aircraft called R-2 ‘Scimitar’. Built with 44 of the finest parts, its root part is WBI.BuffaloCab.
Built in the SPH in KSP version 1.2.0.
