Airframe and armaments are loosely based on an F-16 equipped for self-escorting ground attack.
1) Toggle afterburners
2) Fire countermeasures
3) Toggle ECM pod
4) Toggle airbrakes
5) Arm/disarm trigger
10) Aircraft interception panic button, drops everything heavy that does not help in a dogfight.
It handles like a pregnant guppy when its fully loaded. Action group 10 will release the drop tanks and fire all weapons that are not Air-to-Air missiles. Maneuverability is much improved by this. When it gets low on fuel, you can increase the range of tail fin and engine gimbal to become even more maneuverable.
Takeoff speed when fully loaded is 130 m/s.
It can reach 850 m/s with empty hard points, but has trouble breaking the sound barrier shortly after takeoff.
While flying at full afterburner at sea level, the drop tanks' range is half way across the ocean west of KSC. There is twice as much fuel in the fuselage as there is in the drop tanks.
