INSTRUCTIONS (recommended, not optimal):
1: When you are on the runway, start the jet engine
2: As soon as you get off the runway, pitch to the east
3: When you are at 10 degrees pitch, hold prograde. Release if necessary
4: Once you reach >1000 m/s, the control surfaces may blow off. This is normal
5: Try to keep below 10km altitude
6: >1800 m/s is a piece of cake now. Cut throttle after achieving max speed.
7: Once you have completed your speed record, deploy the fairing
8: EVA and deploy the personal parachute on the Kerbal
