Description

A mod space plane inelaboratively called Duna Shuttle. Built with 101 of the finest parts, its root part is mk2Cockpit.Standard.
 
Built in the SPH in KSP version 1.3.1.
Only tested with FAR - normal operation under stock aerodynamics is not guaranteed.
 
The space plane is designed for moving crew around Duna system - from Duna surface to orbit, Ike or nearby places, provided they exist. The craft is capable of VTOL on Duna and actually is pretty stable, transition from vertical to horizontal light is very smooth. More than that - it also features special engines for braking so you won’t miss your landing spot due to excessive velocity.
 
The craft is designed and tailored for Duna system and because of that it could be not very obvious how to get it to LKO at first, but don’t worry, we’ve got you covered - the space plane comes with (surprise! surprise!) boosters and quite capable achieving 100x100 Kerbin orbit with them. Just don’t climb aggressively after booster separation and you’ll be fine. (Recommended climb rate is 5-10 m/s until you gain 700-800 m/s horizontal speed, than gradually increase to 50 m/s vertical)
 
Also, if you decide to make Kerbin-Duna trip in crewed mode, you might need some extra life support supplies (if your kerbals consume them at all, of course). However, manufacturer warranty does not cover this, so no returns!
