Messerschmidt Komet 163
The Me 163 is a formidable aircraft that played a minor role for Germany during World War 2. Used as a rocket interceptor, the aircraft was used to chase down Allied bombers, shooting down as many as it possibly could.
Being a rocket interceptor required rocket fuel (aka fuel+oxidizer) and made the craft quite heavy. For this reason, the Me 163 has two rugged wheels in front. These wheels do jettison however, for reasons of drag and aircraft stability. The real Me 163 has a problem with wheels bouncing off the runway, then hitting the craft, but you don’t have to worry about that here!
This Me-163 is completely stock, and was built using only 50 parts.
Built in the SPH in KSP version 1.2.9.
