Read the album captions, they include craft information

This is the nuclear ferry (and launch vehicle) I used to launch my science and refueling bases on the Tekto system. Once it delivers its payload, the ferry acts as an insystem orbital tug with the universal docking port of its nose.

The craft includes extra crew space (for those multi-year missions), a respectable load of LOX to top off the tanks of the crafts it ferries, and a full ISRU equipment. It isn’t a science ship, but it carries a powerful antenna and a surface scanner to carry on its mission.

The ferry was made to carry the heavier refueling base. The lighter science base allows it to also carry a pair of small resource survey satelites; one for Tekto for use of the bases, and another one for use of the ferries themselves, to orbit the moon the ferries will use to refuel.

Description

FLIGHT PROFILE
Follow standard 45 deegres gravity turn. Due to rocket’s slow ascent speed and turning rate, start turning at 5000m for it to be finished at 10000. Booster stage is to circularize betwen 70 and 80 Km - higher is not guaranteed to be able to complete the maneuver. Hit retrograde SAS as soon as separation is complete and engage engines as soon as turning is completed - battery power is extremely limited.
Ferry stage is to inmediately land in Minmus for refueling before proceeding with mission.
Ferry stage can land and take off in Minmus, Gilly, Pol, Bop (without payload), Hale and Ovok; Priax (without payload), Tal, Nisee and Karen (without payload) are also technically possible, but are outside of mission parameters.
Once payload is delivered, ferry stage is to remain in-system as orbital tug.
Staging order of the science base and of the two orbital survey satelites (one for use of the science base and another for planning of the tug refueling places in-system) is to be manually adjusted based on mission profile.

ACTION GROUPS
Most of the ferry’s systems need to be controled manually to avoid interference with the payload’s action groups. The only exceptions (which might need to be reasigned if attached to a different payload, or once in use as a tug) are:
Gear: Toggle drill deployment
AG7: Toggle airlocks/bay doors
AG8: run payload deploy sequence unlocks docking ports, releases payload from fairing, and starts base’s fuel cells)

Payload action groups for reference
AG1: toggle whesley jets.
AG2: toggle cub rocket engines.
AG3: control forward.
AG4: control upwards.
AG5: SCIENCE!!
AG6: Collect science (in frontal cuppola).
AG7: External ladders.
AG8: Side wheels.
(…)
AG10: Toggle jets independent throttle.
Translate F/B: jets independent throttle.
Abort: Jets reverse thrust.
RCS: Kerbnet access (Rovemate drone).
RCS/1: Kerbnet access (Fly-by-wire hub).
RCS/2: Kerbnet access (Laboratory).
RCS/4: Kerbnet access (Survey scanner).
Gear: specifically does NOT control wheels.

Many of the craft I post are made with or by my 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14-old daughter - and it shows in the… peculiar humor of some of them.
