Description
A fully stock adition of a side hatch to a long 5M tube to turn it into a cargo bay. Makes use of custom flags (provided - save them with the original names or you will have to reset them manually).
Intended for use with deployable parts, or parts attached to a deployable part, clipped inside the cargo bay
and tied to an action group and/or KAL sequence that opens/closes the hinge at the same time that the payload is deployed/retracted through the hatch (in case you didn’t notice, the hatch is actually imitation. Just like the pool water at KSC). Showcased in the album with a complete sensor/comm array (relay antenna, telescope, and survey AND surface scanners) on a piston.
Still working on the ship that is to make use of this particular piece (and the shown array. I’m fully aware that all those parts don’t need to be deployed
to work, but it sure looks cooler that way.)
