A stock aircraft called SpinAgain2. Built with 180 of the finest parts, its root part is probeStackLarge. Built in the SPH in KSP version 1.1.3.
Based on a forum request by Seeker89 ( http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/index.php?/topic/144399-mod-request-spin-again/#comment-2688022 ).
UPDATE: A redesign added a few more parts and made the craft easier to fly and land. It is still a VTOL, but you can cruise stably at 60-85m/s with the horizontal afterburners on (toggle action groups 3 & 4).
- Up to 4 kerbals can travel, they go in the Mk2 passenger cabin before launching. Once launched, EVA them (the hatch is just visible on the top) and walk them over to board the external command seats.
- Engage SAS stability, stage engines, throttle up to about three notches from full (about 62 kN thrust per engine) to hover; more throttle to start climbing.
- Turn engine gimbal off if you want to control horizontal speed purely by pitch/roll angles, or leave on and adjust to your liking. It’s set on at 25% by default.
- This version can cruise very stable up to it’s top speed (~85m/s with hor. afterburners - action group 4).
Landing still needs to be done with near to zero horizontal speed (kill hor. engines, set airbrakes, <5m/s) and as level ground as possible, else the high CoM will topple you over. Pulse the VTOL afterburners (toggle with action group 2) to arrest descent or recover quickly from a fumbled approach, and try the landing again.
- Type: SPH
- Class: ship
- Part Count: 180
- Pure Stock
- Squad (stock)
Don’t take anything too seriously, I’m mostly just having crazy fun testing the (im)possibilites of flight, physics and design in the amazing sandbox that is Kerbal Space Program. Feedback is welcome!

Don't forget, people build craft at all skill levels, just 'cos something is 'newbish' doesn't mean it needs hatin'.
