A stock aircraft called ST-Bird-of-Prey-00. Built with 98 of the finest parts, its root part is probeCoreOcto2.
Built in the SPH in KSP version 1.0.5.
Kerbals have been encountering the Kreblons in deep space for some time now, but as few craft return from such encounters, our engineering team had precious little information to work on for this recreation.
- apply SAS, throttle up, stage engines, and watch her take off.
- If you had her on brakes she will pitch onto her nose gear; this is not a problem but will require a tap to pitch her up when at speed to lift off.
- Landings can be done at almost zero throttle, she glides very well. Airbrakes are mounted if you are gliding in too fast, and once down she needs only a bit of runway to stop.
So yes, she is flyable and landable, and surprisingly nimble. Just be careful with that yaw, she will spin out on a sneeze if you don’t bank into turns. Please keep her in one piece.
In all seriousness: this is not a practical craft. There is no cargo space or even a cockpit, she’s purely probecore-operated, and is Kerbin-bound.
Just one of those very late night projects of ‘I wonder if I can make this fly and look the part’. For the fans. ;)
- Type: SPH
- Class: ship
- Part Count: 98
- Pure Stock
- Squad (stock)
Don’t take anything too seriously, I’m mostly just having crazy fun testing the (im)possibilities of flight, physics and design in the amazing sandbox that is Kerbal Space Program. Feedback is welcome!

Don't forget, people build craft at all skill levels, just 'cos something is 'newbish' doesn't mean it needs hatin'.
