A stock aircraft called M277 Science Cruiser. Built in the SPH in KSP version 1.3.1 with 46 of the finest parts, its root part is mk2Cockpit.Standard.

Scientific explorer aircraft. Proof of concept for a Panther-based plane with a ‘draggy’ Mk2 body that can cruise at Mach 2.7+ @ 19-20km and circumnavigate Kerbin.

Seats 8 kerbals including crew. Full complement of instruments in the bay. Default fuel load enough to circumnavigate with fuel to spare for multiple stops along the way. Can reach anywhere on Kerbin within 45 mins. Easy to fly and land, but capable of very responsive flight.
