Description
Sooo, my dabbling in FAR led to this. Very much a MAP in its own right, the FAR-Jet-Trainer 2-04 is called Intermediate
for a reason. It flies stable, but it needs to hit about 180m/s to takeoff, which takes just about the entire runway. After that, I throttle back to about 50%, sometimes as low as 33%, and just watch the light blue spikes for a while. It shouldn’t pull much higher than 7 Gs when below 250m/s, and the craft can handle it fine (says the guy who uses KJR). Passed mach 1, it’s safe to say be careful. I’ve had a hell of time landing, but I’m nub at landing in FAR (slowing down get tough some times). I’d appreciate advise if anyone more experienced in FAR has any to offer.
A mod aircraft called FJT-2-04 Intermediate. Built with 60 of the finest parts, its root part is Mark2Cockpit.
Built in the SPH in KSP version 1.0.4.
