Description

What started as a remake of the F-22 - namely, a better one than my previous upload, became this. Frankly, I’m a fan. This is a slick, super cruiser designed with Jeb in-mind. Like, what would he want? All the machs? Check. All the Gs? Check. Moar powah?! With the thrust defaulted to 2/3 power, there’s room afterburners - Check. Stability assist, so there’s time to read the paper? Check. Airbrakes? Tight turning? Check, check. Oh yeah, she’s ready for flights. I put some flaps on flaps, ‘cuz I heard you like flaps. Then, I added more flaps to get some proper fuselage forms. And for my brethren that love the aerodynamic spikes, enjoy these ones. Important things to note: The airbrakes work awesome… in the air. Don’t use them when touched-down, as they may cause the jet to roll. Pull up around 80-90 m/s to lift. There is RCS hidden behind the intakes for reversing. Activate RCS [R] and press [N] - by default, to reverse. There’s 22 oxidizer for it. If you need more than that, then you’re driving the jet the wrong direction.

A stock aircraft called DJ-X4iii MAP-4. Built with 73 of the finest parts, its root part is Mark2Cockpit.

Built in the SPH in KSP version 1.0.4.
