Description
Not much to say about this little number, other than it’s awesome. It was built in a career save with some science bits, but I removed them and tweaked the wings for the upload. Using the KAX engine, the D-25, it doesn’t fly very fast - tops out around 100 m/s when leveled, but it was designed to be able to land anywhere to collect science, so speed was never considered an issue. As far as landing is concerned, it’ll touch down everywhere on Kerbin, no problem. As far as take off is concerned, she pulls off the runway - or any surface, by 30 m/s - which is awesome and crazy useful for taking off from fields and such. All in all, I love this plane and I think others will, too. It’s got that classic WWII-era appeal that’ll never get old… even though it is fairly old.
A mod aircraft called D-25i Skouter. Built with 41 of the finest parts, its root part is Mark2Cockpit.
Built in the SPH in KSP version 1.0.4.
