Information

The Kares I is a replica of NASA’s Ares I from the cancelled Constellation Program. It was planned to replace the Soyuz in taking American and Canadian astronauts to the International Space Station and intended to carry mankind on a new Moon Mission, alongside its larger counterpart: the SLS Block II / Ares V. My replica features recoverable first-stage SRB, aerodynamic capsule shell, the Corion (replica of Orion command-service module), and a launch option for tiny CubeSats.
A needle-like space-thing called Kares I. Built with 212 of the most top-heavy parts, its root part is fairingSize2.

Built in the VAB in KSP version 1.1.3.
