The Duna F1X: 52 Tons to a Variety of Orbits

The F1X was not born out of necessity. No, it was born out of the SNG Orbitals Department’s lust for stupendous amounts of lifting power. In fact, its Demonstration of Power to the rocketeering World was a quite incredible rendezvous-and-docking of a huge 43 ton fuel module to a near-polar Space Station. To top it all off, the revolutionary T+ upper stage / tug was then landed safely back on Kerbin’s surface under nothing but rocket propulsion from its four powerful engines. You can own the Duna F1X, with its 8 KF1 engines ripped right out of the Kapollo-era and strapped on the F1X’s sides in pairs, and all you need to do, is click the Download button in the top- or bottom-right corner.

A big bag of liquid-fueled boom named the Duna T1X. Built with 164 of the most heat-resistant parts, its root part is fairingSize2.

Built in the VAB in KSP version 1.1.3, by the care[ful / less] hands at the SNG Orbitals Department.
