Information

Cryogenic Aerospike Reusable Lander. The CARL is designed to be mounted atop a 3.75m decoupler, and should detach easily and safely. It can carry 7 Kerbals and has a lot of Delta-V thanks to its large (heavy), fuel tanks and efficient aerospike engines. Very easy to fly, and is capable of powered descent / landing: the parachutes may only be solely used on land; in the sea, you’ll need to slow down more with the engines when close to splashdown. Enjoy! :)

A big ol' subassembly called CARL. Built with 40 of the pointiest parts, its root part is HeatShield3.

Built in KSP version 1.1.2.
