The M-87D is a single-engine, twin-seat fighter-bomber, designed by an unknown group, abandoned in a retreat. The aircraft features large leading-edge extensions, leading-edge flaps and a forward intake, with high-alpha intakes on the bottom of the wing. Various blueprints left behind and calculations stated that the aircraft was designed with the cobra maneuver in mind. It was never flown in combat, and remains largely a mystery.
