Description

Delta-wing variant of the F-16, initially a technology demonstrator. Losing a competition to the F-15E, the remaining 2 units were put in to storage and later handed over to NASA.

A stock aircraft called General Dynamics F-16XL. Built with 200 of the finest parts, its root part is miniFuselage.

Built in the SPH in KSP version 1.11.1.

Aircraft is capable of supersonic flight because of an engine overclock. This means the aircraft is pretty much incapable of flight without the Infinite Propellant cheat, since it burns fuel at 5x the rate. The vehicle is also limited to about 700m/s due to the engine overheating.
