Description
A SSTO-capable nuclear crew transfer vehicle. Approximately 2.5km/s dV in LKO. Inspired by the rocketplane shown in the KSP2 trailer and the BAK Kassius.
Action Groups:
1: Toggle RAPIERs.
2: Switch RAPIER mode.
3: Toggle Nerv.
0: Toggle deployables.
Ascent profile:
Light SRB once in the air.
Maintain pitch 15deg until 9km ASL, then pitch down to 10deg.
Once you hit 1450 m/s, pitch up to 30deg. Start Nerv.
Switch to closed-cycle when TWR < 0.6.
Aim for an Ap of at least 80km; pitch up as necessary (but do not exceed 45deg).
Salt to taste.
