The Silver Bullet Bomber
The Convair B-58 Hustler was an oft-forgotten Cold War strategic nuclear bomber which formed a major part of the U.S. Nuclear deterrent strategy for much of the 1970s.
It was originally designed to fly high and fast, reaching speeds of Mach 2.5 while carrying - bear with me - a combination drop tank and a 3.8 Megaton thermonuclear bomb.
True to form, this replica can reach absurd speeds (1800+m/s) and altitudes (51km), but what did you expect out of a craft powered by 8 whiplashes?
Only trick: set it down REALLY gently on landing
