Douglas B-43 Jetmaster
The Jetmaster was Douglas Aircraft’s proposal for America’s first jet bomber. It was adapted from the unique XB-42 Mixmaster, which featured a pusher-configuration contra-rotating propeller. Although it was the first jet bomber to fly, it was instable and never made it into production.
