Kerballed Maneuvering Unit - KMU
The celebration lasted long into the night when KSC engineers first discovered the Kerballed Maneuvering Unit! However, the KMU was quickly phased out of regular rotation when they realized everyone already had jetpacks strapped to their backs… oh well.
If you want to round out a shuttle replica, kick it back old school and relive Jeb McCandless’s historic untethered spacewalk, or just scoot around taking screenshots, this pack has your back. About 800 ∆v in the can, so you can even use it to orbit Minmus a few times or do some biome hopping.
It’s recommended to let a Pilot fly, as there’s no SAS. But it’s well balanced so do what you gotta do. Also recommended to use fine control.
