Description
This is an improved version of my first ornithopter built in stock KSP, made possible by the feedback of this amazing community.
Changes:
Energy management: Now it uses a combination of fuel cells and fuel, as fuel has a higher energy density than batteries, this gives 3 times the range of the previous version with the same mass.
RTG: As all surface controls are provided by robotic parts, having an RTG prevents it from discharging and locking up the hinges
Maneuverability: Better surface controls and wing connections gives it better pitch authority and roll control. This makes it easier for taking off and doing acrobatics stunts.
Extra blinking nav lights for good looks =D
