The Hyperion H-11 is a 4/5 generation subsonic, twin-engined strategic close air support / bomber aircraft, produced by the Hyperion Aerospace Company (Formerly the Kerbastan Private Aerospace Research Division) that was introduced into service after the Separation Conflict when it was concluded that ground armored vehicles were not being destroyed as easily with infantry anti-tank weapons due to new technological advancements. As a temporary solution Hyperion was contracted to manufacture a new aircraft of variable CAS role. The aircraft sports an aerodynamic design of 80/20 swept wings and holds 12 modular pylons on it’s wings and main fuselage. It’s fuel tank capacity is 1780 and has the ability to be extended with pylon fuel tanks. On sea level, full-throttle tests conclude that the maximum fuel consumption of the engine system is of about 0.32 fuel units per second, proportional to the proximity to sea level. It’s production run has seen rocky bumps along the way, with a total of 11 prototype models built and 23 total accidents during testing. However, the company has affirmed issues causing such accidents are probably fixed.

Flight Details

H-11PR Prototype model firing it’s KsH-20-3 three-barrel minigun. The weapon has a total ammo load of 1300 HVAP/HEFR shells.

The aircraft requires SAS to stabilize itself during general flight and use of the Targeting Pod.
This model features no AA missiles, but has radar jamming capabilitise.
The H-11 takes off at about 70-80m/s speed on most runways.
The H-11 is NOT a fighter jet - Tight turns and crazy maneuvers may bring the plane into a move it can’t recover from.
