Description
A stock aircraft called Kerbin to Minmus Shuttle. Built with 143 of the finest parts, its root part is mk2Cockpit.Inline.
Very forgiving SSTO to fly. Almost fly and forget. Get to 130m/s then rotate, set to 10 degrees pitch and retract the gear & toggle forward elevons (0).
At about 6000m it should hit 400m/s and begin to accelerate quickly and slowly pitch itself up.
At about 23,500-24,000m switch the Rapiers to closed cycle (2).
At 30,000-32,000 set to prograde.
The Rapiers should burn out just past 38,000 at that point activate the Nuclear Engines (3)
At 70,000m you should have an apoapsis of 90km and require only 100m/s DeltaV to circularise your orbit leaving you about 1700m/s DeltaV to get to and land on Minmus to mine, refuel and head off to new destinations.
