Description
FLIGHT INSTRUCTIONS
Takeoff:
Stage
Engage brakes on main craft
Alt-Q until roll is around 65%
Reduce Prop blade authority to around 50.
Switch back to main craft. Disengage brakes
Pull back to avoid prop striking until it takes off around 20 m/s.
Flight:
Once airborne, engage SAS.
Switch to prop and Alt-Q to 100% roll.
Pin the prop blade menu.
Switch to normal craft.
You can now fly.
Set Prop Auth Limit to around 80 for good performance over a wide speed range.
Landings:
Use the pinned menu to set Prop Auth Limit to 150, reducing thrust to near zero.
Approach the landing site.
Switch to the prop and engage SAS, stopping it. Your airspeed should drop quickly.
Firmly plant the landing gears on the runway and brake cautiously.
