Description

A mod aircraft called GSLV-0B Project Hyper-V Linear Ghettospike Test. Built with 77 of parts made by the lowest bidder, its root part is B9.Cockpit.MK2.Body.Cargo.2m.

Built in the SPH in KSP version 0.90.0. Please note you need to install B9 Procedural Parts in addition to B9 Aerospace pack to fly this craft.

See the in-game craft information when you spawn the ship for more details on action groups. Action Groups Extended mod highly recommended in case you want to poke around the configuration or reprogram action groups in-flight!

Background Story:

Not too long ago El Cheapo Aerospace decided not to spend 3 million kash to unlock the stock annular aerospike. They decide to make a Ghetto Spike engine out of a discarded nosecone and some 24-77 rocket motors found in a junkyard.

The GhettoSpike engine worked well but didn’t have enough power to propel a 71 ton monster spaceplane to orbit, so they decided to up the ante and develop a more powerful linear aerospike engine.

Before installing the engine on a hugely expensive SSTO prototype, some bright chap suggested to design a small-scale technology demonstrator to qualify the new GS-2 Linear Ghettospike engine!

Here she is, not the fragile launch and throw away early test vehicles, but a fully operational unmanned, conventional takeoff and landing capable, sub-orbital, hypersonic-capable miniature spaceplane for all your speed induced adrenalin needs!
