External hyperdrives are often used by small fighters to travel long distances. This hyperdrive ring has six nuclear engines and is rated for travel to Eve, Duna, and Kerbin’s moons. It features a Claw as its attachment point, so any ship small enough to fit in the ring can use it. ¨¨The ring does have a probe core and RCS, but it is not meant for independent operation. ¨¨Suggested Use: Station three or four of these in a strategic location (LKO, Synchronous orbit, Mun orbit, etc) for use when needed. Use the two upwards-facing antennas to align the connected ship inside the ring.

I built this for use with my V-Wing Starfighter, but it can be used with any craft small enough to fit in the ring, thanks to the Claw it used for connection to ships.
