Description

And so, I discontinue for now my series of Russian/Soviet Aircraft, but I maybe upload an Il-62M and Tu-154M later.

Anyway. This is the so called Baade or Dresden 152/II. An east german passenger airplane and the first one to be developed in Germany after WW 2. Only 3 prototypes have been built, the first one (152/I) crashed on its second flight in 1959. Afterwards they made some detail changes and came up with the 152/II second prototype, which is the basis for my model and flew 1960 for the first time and some more test flights. Because of several constructional issues and the lack of customers, the project was discontinued in 1961.

Stats: my KSP-version // original 152/II
Weight: 50 tonnes // 47 tonnes
Length: 32 metres // 31.4 metres
Wingspan: 25.5 metres // 26.3 metres
Heigth: 9.36 metres // 9 metres

The plane flies really nice and has low start and landing speeds (50-60m/s). As always: Button 1 toggles flaps, 2 airbrakes, 3 reverse thrust.

Have fun with it! ;-)

Built in the SPH in KSP version 1.3.
