Description
Based on the Space:1999 Eagle
design.
The docking port at the top is used for ventral landing purposes; dock with the forward docking port, land with the ventral docking port. Select Control from Here
in either case.
Action Groups:
G - Toggles the AGUs used as landing gear
1 - Toggles the main engines
2 - Toggles the ventral lifting engines.
Throttle Notes:
When the ore tanks are empty, set the thrust values for the front pair of engines at 50; when the ore tanks are full, set the thrust values at 81. Otherwise the COM and the COT values for the ventral engines will not match up. This assumes empty fuel tanks in either case. CAUTION: COM and COT may shift as fuel is used; keep SAS and RCS engaged at ALL times. (You might want to maintain Stability Assist
on the NavBall at all times as well.)
