Description
Part of my Kerbal Emergency Rescue Force the flagship Templar. It is the ultimate all out command station for home base operations. It can land small air craft, convert ore to fuel, nuclear reactor. It travels 40m/s in water and 100m/s in air, with vtol takeoff.
Action groups
1 - forward jet engines, use on takeoff
2 - vtol engines (theyre calibrated to take off as is)
3 - reverse thrust (jet engines aka backwards / brakes)
9 - parachutes
b - brakes (aerobrakes)
g - landing gears
<3 Please read this or you wont be able to take off <3
To take off you have to go to the mid section cargo hold (mk3 cargo hold) and find the probe core, control from there. Then engage SAS. Next throttle up and press 1. Get going to about 40-60m/s and press 2, this will engage vtol. Use this to go upwards and let the jet engines get you up to about 80m/s after that you can press 2 again to stop the vtol engines and use the jets to travel wherever you want at about 100m/s. When you find where you want to be slow down with brakes and toggle action group 3 to reverse thrust. Use action group 9 to engage parachutes and b to engage aerobrakes. make sure all engines action groups are off except 2 and use the vtols to slow decent to under 10m/s
