Gets large payloads to orbit or direct Interplanetary Transfer.
A mod subassembly called Super S Booster. Built with 102 of the finest parts, its root part is probeStackLarge.
Built in KSP version 1.0.4.
This is a heavy booster that I created for the Zepheranthes. I wasn’t sure it was powerful enough given what I was trying to lift.
As it turned out, however, I may have overdone it! It turned out to be OVER-powered for the purpose!
I’ve since used this same booster config to launch spacestations in one unit - LARGE space stations of unwieldy and questionable aerodynamic design. The trick to boosting such craft to orbit is to launch them SLOWLY through the soup of the lower atmosphere, keep things throttled way down. You have to have a STUPIDLY powerful booster system with a LOT of power to waste on inefficient lifting straight up as far as possible before turning.
Fortunately the Super S Booster IS that stupidly powerful booster system. Why do you think it’s called the Super
S stands for STUPID!!! :D Hehe…
If the payload is smaller, and aerodynamically shielded, this booster will be cabable of getting them directly into interplanetary transfers with no intermediate orbit and boost phases.
Want an enormous STUPIDLY powerful booster for lifting ridiculous payloads to orbit? The Super S is for you!
(Although it’s not ENTIRELY dumb. The top stage in the stack has a probe, battery Mono-propellant reaction wheel and probe. It can de-orbit itself automatically if you leave it with a little fuel left.)

Don't forget, people build craft at all skill levels, just 'cos something is 'newbish' doesn't mean it needs hatin'.
It will cost you 5 of your own points to downvote
