Description

Reusable (once you get it to Laythe), this lander can serve as a somewhat reliable last 50km link betwen Laythe and low-Laythe orbit.

Instructions for use (Best used with the trajectory mod):

• Use the supplied LV-N stage or a Jool system tug to place the fully fuelled lander in a 55km circular orbit of Laythe.
• Set SAS to hold retrograde.
• De-orbit with a 10m/s burn, about 80 degrees before your desired landing spot. Trajectory helps a lot here.
• Leave the controls alone!
• As the atmosphere thickens the air will move the fins in one direction or another and start a stabilising spin.
• You have a little wiggle room to use chute deployment to land a little early.
