Description
Bouyancy test article.
.
.
.
This craft started out as a dive wreck / ocean scenery object then turn into this after I needed to do some
.
.
experimenting with buoyancy control and what could be used for such, received some great advice / information from
.
.
Hotel26 on how to do just that by editing a few configuration files, since editing config files is not really my thing I went
.
.
back to the kraken exploits which is used here. Ballast is set on this sub so it sits in the water at near neutral buoyancy,
.
.
the kraken drives just give it a push in either direction via the I
and K
keys, tapping the I
key several times..
.
.
approximately ( 10 times) should get it moving down, tapping the K
key to get her moving up.
.
.
The rest of the key bindings:
.
.
Key 1 - Toggle this to release ballast in small amounts.
.
Key 2 - Release anti-sub counter measures, errr.. just fireworks.
.
Key 3 - Periscope toggle.
.
Key 9 - Blows all ballast.
.
Keys H and N - Will change the pitch on the drive motor blades, will allow backing the sub up if desired.
.
.
This sub will actually get to 10m/s, just needs to be leveled off at some depth without the kraken drives pushing it
.
.up or down too hard.
.
.
Salute!
