Taxi your aircraft with ease
If you play for full re-usability (ie craft refuelled on the tarmac) this rover becomes a handy tool for shunting landed aircraft to refuel sites or dragging them back onto the runway. It can handle most sizes of aircraft so long as their front gear setup isn’t too weird.
How to use

- stop level with the aircraft, make sure aircraft’s brakes are on.
- hit [R] to raise front ‘lifter’ wheels
- drive forward steadily and the lifter wheels will raise the nose cone
- aircraft’s front gear should go into the ‘tyre groove’
- keep going forward until aircraft gear hits stop block
- hit [G] to engage the locks which hold the gear in place.
- and hit [R] again to lower the lifter wheels
- release brakes on aircraft and now you can tow it
For low profile aircraft, drive under the nose cone before raising the lifter wheels, once under hit [R] to raise the lifter wheels to raise the aircraft and continue to drive under before lowering it back down and engaging the wheel locks [G]
For itsy-bitsy teeny-weeny craft there is a different wheel lock nearer the front, toggled with AG1. With narrow nose cones you may not be able to raise the front with the lifter wheels, but…a gentle boop into the aircraft maybe enough to bounce it up into place.
(Don’t boop large aircraft, they bounce way more than you’d expect and then end up falling apart).
The friction control on the rear wheels (which are doubled up) is set very high. This enables it to drag heavy craft, but does make it very easy to roll, so don’t try and corner too fast!
Recommended/Optional Mods
Indicator lights - adds the nice lights on the batteries/dashboard
If you have TAC life support and Configurable Containers the RCS tank on the back will contain life support supplies, if you don’t have these mods it will just contain RCS (which you can dump out).
