Description
A set of cargo modules designed to use with the CT-8-LR and CT-4-LR SSTOs. Primarily designed for the CT-8-LR with the smaller cargo bay, but the CT-4-LR with double the cargo space can carry two of these modules.
All modules are stock parts but are intended to be used with TAC-LF and Configurable Containers. If those two mods are installed some of the tanks will have their contents changed to life support resources, otherwise they will just contain stock fuel.
Use the version list to switch to the different cargo modules to download each one
Standard Cargo
The default cargo module the CT-8-LR is shipped with. It’s the basic stock science package (materials, goo, the 4 sensors a Fluid Spectro Variometer and a Surface scanning module. It also has a science container a probe core, short range antenna and a couple solar panels.
With TAC-LF and Configurable Containers installed then this module will contain life support resources enough to supply a crew of 10 for 89 days.
LF Booster Cargo
This module drops some of the science equipment from the Standard Cargo module in favour of packing more life support resources. This will provide a crew of 10 with LF resources for 134 days (assuming TAC-LF and Configurable Containers are installed)
Docking Cargo
This module adds docking functionality with a docking port and manoeuvring thrusters. It’s a slightly odd design in that the RCS ports are part of the cargo module, but offset so they end up in the right places on the craft when the cargo module is installed. So unlike the other modules which could be used in any craft with a small Mk2 cargo bay, this one is very specific to the CT-8-LR’s design (does work with the CT-4-LR, if fitted to the rear of the cargo bay).
It also includes optional TAC-LF resources (good for 89 days with 10 crew).
