A recreation of Wernher von Braun’s 1955 manned orbiter prototype he called the XR-1.
While the craft is easily spaceworthy, do not attempt a gravity turn.
von Braun’s design held 10 crew, this one 5. The return stage works surprisingly well as a glider, even though the mass/lift diagram is extremely confusing in the VAB.
Built in the VAB in KSP version 1.8.1.
