For it’s own birthday, the KSC decided to land a monument next to the tracking station. However, due to a slight control error, the asteroid was landed a few miles away from the Space Center. So the engineers built a rover to grab the asteroid and, quite literally, put it in it’s place.
After having completed it’s task, the probe promptly went against it’s programming and took a selfie of itself and the roid next to the tracking station. It then decided to give this picture to the marketing team.
After the booming success, the marketing team jumped right on it, saying It can move ANY asteroid ANYWHERE on land!. As you can imagine, humble buyers everywhere tested this theory. It turns out that for the first time ever, the marketing team told the truth. Ahh well, here comes another celebratory asteroid!
After all the press attention, the asteroid got very confused and depressed, so it jumped off of a tall structure. The effect of this was to wipe out an entire city, which just made the asteroid even more confused. When news reached the outer solar system of the asteroid’s success, the asteroid’s friends decided they wanted in. The asteroid’s comrades decided that in order to get attention, they would land too. So each asteroid visited a different planet and asked for attention. Sadly, as soon an asteroid landed, it discovered that it had accidentally wiped out the entire species population of the planet.
