Ingenious Millennial Labs has sold many units of the Lonely Explorer, and received a few complaints. We have heard your screams. and present the new Trio model! This spacecraft is an improvement on its predecessor in many fields. First and foremost, it has the ability to hold three Kerbals comfortably. Another improvement we made was adding a docking port. The Trio Explorer has the capability to transfer crew to and from other craft, and to dock with a station. This incredible spacecraft is loaded with a probe core which allows it to navigate and maneuver without a crew, or for the crew onboard to relax without having to worry about crashing. The Trio model of the explorer features the same engine, InfiniProp Generator, and RCS ports as the lonely model, as well as a larger cockpit to allow your intrepid journeyer to enjoy the company of fellow crew members (or just be that Kerbal and spread their tiny little legs across all three seats).
After hearing many complaints from customers, we decided to improve our product. The first change we made was yanking off the Cupola module in response to a crazy lawsuit involving a passenger being driven crazy
from the years alone they spent drifting far from home
. They replaced the cramped module with a large and accommodating three-person cockpit. Our most ingenious engineers then pointed out that there was a big empty space above the top of the cockpit, and that we should probably put it to use. We also were told by customers that they didn’t want to stay in their spacecraft, and occasionally wanted to stop at a station and rest. We decided to kill two birds with one stone by glueing a docking port onto the top of the capsule. Ingenious Millennial Labs will soon even be selling a modular space station to be used in tandem with the Explorer.
This spacecraft is only for use in space. Do not attempt to use it in an atmosphere. The Explorer - Lonely Model is capable of landing on low-gravity bodies which lack atmospheres by using RCS, but do so at your own risk. The Explorer is capable of landing on high-gravity bodies (without an atmosphere) by using the main engine, but this is not reccomended
