Now updated with fixed Action Groups, lowered front engine thrust, and an additional intake to prevent the rear engine from stalling!

This is the Marine Corps varient of the F-35 with full Short TakeOff and Vertical Landing ability. As in real life, this aircraft can only land vertically with around 150 units of fuel left. The aircraft will also take-off vertically, but is not intended to. DO NOT stage the seperators as they make up the rear bearing. I’ve reduced the fuel in the aircraft to allow VTOL, the two fuel tanks are in the spine of the aircraft if you want to increase the fuel load.

This F-35 recreation can take off with a full fuel load, but it is VERY slow. The Pather engine is used rather than the Whiplash in the other two models because it is smaller and allows enough clearance from the ground.

Limit the thrust of the Wheezly engine in the front to about 80 if you’re having trouble landing.

How to land vertically:
-In normal flight mode throttle the rear engine down to 0%
-Press 3 to decouple the rear engine
-Switch the the rear engine with [ or ]
-Use S to lower the engine to the bottom docking port, W to raise it back to level flight
-Press 2 to activate the front engine and throttle up over 2/3 power (this varies with fuel)
-Press 1 to extend slats, this helps with the pitching up tendency of the craft
-Use RCS to gain more control over roll and pitch
