F-80 SeaStar
[Modeled After The P-80 Shooting Star]
The F-80 SeaStar is a stock replica of the P-80 Shooting Star. It features wingtip fuel pods and a trapezoidal wing plan, and is powered by a single J-33 Turbofan engine. The top speed when unarmed is ~450 m/s @ 500 meters, and is capable of decent slow speed maneuvering at lower speeds. The thrust reverser is bound to 1, and the engine power toggle is bound to 2. Although not required for flight, SAS makes takeoff a tad easier as the plane is relatively nose heavy. If you so desire, you can fix this by playing with the fuel flow from the forward NCS adapter and by balancing the fuel level between the forward and rear NCS adapter before flight. In flight, I advise slightly trimming the elevators to pull the nose up a tad. Enjoy your flight!
